Learning outcomes
- Explain the purpose and functions of an EOC.
- Outline roles and responsibilities within the EOC
- Contribute to duties in an EOC
- Describe the importance of managing and communicating accurate information and demonstrate practical ability to contribute to such practices by using documents, boards, maps and templates
- Collect, collate, interpret, react and disseminate information according to procedures
- Contribute towards effective EOC operations in a multi-agency context
- Contribute towards closing an EOC according to procedures
Target audience
This workshop is applicable to employees and volunteer personnel working in local, district or state level EOCs. The primary target audience are people who will be working in Liaison Officer roles in an EOC.Upcoming classes and workshops
