This course builds on the fundamentals of emergency management covered in the Foundations in Emergency Management online course. It enables learners to apply the key concepts of emergency management arrangements in NSW.

The aim of the workshop is to improve situational awareness and provide the knowledge and skills required to work effectively in an Emergency Operations Centre (EOC).

The overall aim of this training is to support learners to apply evacuation management principles for all hazards that may impact a community in NSW.
It assists learners to understand the requirements and impacts of evacuations in a community so they can effectively contribute towards planning, implementing, coordinating, and managing the five stages of evacuation. The course covers guidance on applying the NSW Evacuation Management Guidelines.
