Enhancing emergency management capability

Curriculum

The NSW emergency management sector works together at local, regional, and state levels to ensure statewide emergency management capability.

Through continuous improvement activities and preparedness efforts, NSW strives to enhance its emergency management capabilities and ensure the safety and well-being of our communities.

Staff and volunteers in emergency service organisations, government and non-government organisations and community benefit from the emergency management training offered by the Premier’s Department.

Emergency management training and resources are made freely available to support inter-agency co-ordination, co-operation and information sharing to improve foundational capability of the NSW emergency management sector.

  • In-person workshops and seminars
  • Practical exercises and simulations
  • Self-paced online learning modules
