Disaster Recovery Arrangements in NSW
The aim of this course is to provide a foundational overview of disaster recovery concepts, principles and legislation that guide recovery in New South Wales. To successfully complete the course, you are required to complete the two modules in sequence. A certificate of completion will be issued once you have completed the course.

Module 3: Disaster recovery arrangements in NSW
- Identify the disaster recovery arrangements in NSW
- Explain the legal and planning framework for disaster recovery in NSW
- Identify the key roles and related responsibilities for disaster recovery in NSW
Module 4: Multi-level, multi-agency approach to recovery case study
- Give examples of real-world impacts of a disaster across the four recovery domains
- Identify how the four recovery domains are considered in a comprehensive and holistic needs assessment
- Explain how the Local Recovery Committee supports recovery
- Explain how recovery is supported at the Regional and State level
Target audience
This training is for anyone undertaking recovery work, irrespective of the role performed.
Assessment
There are five – seven quiz questions within each module. The quiz will have open navigation, allowing learners to navigate out of the quiz to look up information. Learners will need to pass the quiz to complete the module. The pass rate is 80%. Learners will have unlimited attempts at the quiz.
